VENDOR INFORMATION & FORMS

Before you submit an application, please read the following guidelines as to Vendors: 

 

Date of Festival:  Saturday, July 22, 2017

Time:  9 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

Please DO NOT arrive before 7 a.m. on festival day to set up.

 

Price Per Booth Space = $50.00 (all entries postmarked after June 1, 2017)

(if postmarked on or before June 1, 2017 - $40.00 per booth space)          

                               

Size of Booth Space:  12 X 12                          (Additional Size will be additional price!)

 

Expected Crowd:  3000 + (Crowd depends on weather each and every year).




Please note that there are a limited amount of spaces available for Vendors.
 
For those wishing to take advantage of our early bird special ($40.00 per 12X12 booth space) -you must have your form and payment postmarked to us on or before June 1st. All other entries sent in after June 1st will pay $50.00 per booth space.  All applications and payments must be submitted no later than July 10, 2017.  Applications will not be accepted after this date!
 
We will only accept CASH, CASHIER’S CHECK or MONEY ORDER!!!  No PERSONAL CHECKS OR BUSINESS CHECKS will be accepted. 
 
¨ Booths will be set up along Riverside Drive in Fair Bluff.  When your entry is received, your number and space will be marked and reserved with your entry.  Your payment is your receipt.  You will receive no other reply from us unless your payment does not clear the bank or we do not accept the items that you plan to sell at our festival.  PLEASE NOTE THAT A FORM RETURNED WITHOUT PAYMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS A VENDOR FOR THE NC WATERMELON FESTIVAL!
 
 
¨ You will be directed upon arrival as you check in on July 22nd.  You will check in with a member of the North Carolina Watermelon Festival Arts & Crafts Committee. 
 
¨ ALL CRAFT VENDORS, GAMES AND RIDES ARE ACCEPTED! We do accept a limited number of commercial and local business vendors.  (Games and rides must be approved by the Board of Directors and Officers before they can attend).  No electricity is furnished!  You must provide your own!!
 
Our Festival no longer accepts FOOD booths with the following exceptions:  snow cones, iceys, blooming onions, boiled peanuts, ice cream, funnel cakes, homemade doughnuts and cotton candy.  ALL OTHER FOOD VENDORS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!  Other Food items such as hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, etc. are sold by local organizations ONLY!  All food menu items are subject to approval and may be restricted. If you have a question about whether the food that you sell is allowed – please call and ask. Please do not mail a form to be a food vendor at the NC Watermelon Festival and expect a refund if you have not confirmed your items. All fees are non-refundable.
 
Vendors are responsible for their own tables, tents, fans, generators, and any other equipment or supplies they may need on the day of the festival. ALL fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and signing this form is your acknowledgement of this policy!

¨ The Fair Bluff Watermelon Growers Association, Inc. and the North Carolina Watermelon Festival in Fair Bluff, North Carolina is not responsible for any accidents or incidents which may occur. The Fair Bluff Watermelon Growers Association, Inc. and the North Carolina Watermelon Festival in Fair Bluff, North Carolina is not responsible whatsoever for any merchandise or personal/business items that are lost, stolen, misplaced, or otherwise for any accidents or incidents which may occur with any merchandise or business related property including personal property.
 
The Fair Bluff Watermelon Growers Association, Inc. and the North Carolina Watermelon Festival will not be held responsible for any fines or fees associated with your business for not meeting State and County Health Department requirements.
